Jackson College Wins 2026 Men’s Bowling Title
LANSING, Mich. – The Jets are on top of the Region 12 men's bowling scene! With a total pin count of 7,992, the Jackson College men's bowling team earned the distinction of 2026 Region 12 Men' Bowling Champions after holding off stellar showings by Kellogg Community College and Edison State Community College.
Kellogg finished 83 pins back at the conclusion of the championship, while Edison State was 94 pins shy of Jackson. The 2026 championship was once again held at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, Mich.
A hot start by the Jets proved to be the difference as Jackson achieved a score of 2,195 in doubles play compared to 2,130 for Kellogg and 2,075 for Edison State.
Edison State's Ian Sayler took home the singles championship with a 627 series. Sayler was also the All-Events Champion with a 1,627 series. The tandem of Andrew Sackett and Owen Sears secured the Doubles Championship with a 1,170 series.
The All-Region Team consisted of Ian Sayler (Edison State; 1,627), Andrew Sacket (Jackson; 1,548), Connor Hagerman (Schoolcraft; 1,542), Evan Daly (Mid Michigan; 1,531), Caleb Miller (Edison State; 1,500), Cameron McKee (Kellogg; 1,488) and Justin Bisby (St. Clair County; 1,485).
