Region XII honored with Coach and Asst. Coach of the Year
Macomb Community College women's indoor track coach Kim Renas was named Women's Indoor Track and Field Head Coach of the Year. Tim Marsee of Vincennes University was named Women's Indoor Assistant Coach of the Year. Each of the awards is voted on by their peers. Congratulations to both Kim and Tim.

Macomb relay team national champions, has two All-Americans
The Macomb Community College has won the NJCAA Championship in the Distance Medley Relay at the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Nationals. The team of Paige Hoag, Ciara Poppe, Louisa Coppola and Kayla Pfund finished first with a time of 12:41.63.
Pfund earnd All-American honors in the 3,000 meters place 2nd with a time of 10:29.53 and Hoag earned All-American honors in the same race, finishing fourth with a time of 10:32.68. Congratulation to these athletes on their accomplishments.

Vincennes pole vaulter Bartnovskaya sets national record
Vincennes University pole vaulter Natalia Bartnovskaya set a school record and then broke it on her last attempt at the Gladstein Invitational at Indiana University over the weekend.
Bartnovskaya, from Russia, vaulted 13 feet, 7.25 inches to win the event and become the NJCAA national record holder by more than one foot. The vault also place her in the top 30 in the world. She becomes the first Trailblazer track and field athlete to set a national record.
