Owens Eitniear earns All-American Honors
Owens Community College sophomore forward Kendra Eitniear has been named a NJCAA Divison I women's soccer Honorable Mention All-American. Eitniear lead the Express to the number one seed in the Region XII Tournament this season by scoring 11 goals and adding four assists in 18 games.

Muskegon CC women's soccer season ends with nationals loss
The Muskegon Community College women's soccer team first season came to an end today at the NJCAA Division I women's soccer nationals in Melbourne, FL with a 4-0 to number eight Darton (GA) State College. The Jayhawks had more offensive challenges today than they did versus Brevard (FL) Community College yesterday but still could not find the net.
Stephanie Anes opened the scoring for the Cavaliers with a 40 yard strike in the 7th minute. About eight minutes later an own goal by Muskegon's Nikole Heinig put Darton up 2-0. A lead that would hold up until the second half.
Darton opened the second half with a goal by Deanna Reali just one minute and 30 second into the half. Muskegon CC replace goaltender Emily Manchester in the 50th minute with Summer Groendal. Darton scored on a penalty kick by Shenika Williams in the 56th minute. It appeared that Groendal had stopped the ball but it trickled across the line for the goal. Muskegon CC finishes the season with a final record of 7-8-2 overall.

Muskegon CC drops opening game at national soccer tournament
The Muskegon Community College women's soccer team played their first game in pool play at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament today losing to host school Brevard (FL) Community College 2-0. The number on ranked Titans outshot the Jayhawks 18-0 in the match but freshman goaltender Emily Manchester made 16 saves to keep Muskegon in the game.
Titan sophomore co-captain Lois Edvardsson scored at the 25:52 mark on an assist from Courtney Hueston. Hueston also assisted on Amanda Lodge's goal in the 80th minute to round out the scoring. The 19th ranked Jayhawks will face eight ranked Darton (GA) College tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM in Melbourne, FL.

Muskegon breaks into the top 20 for the first time in school history
The Muskegon Community College women's soccer is in the top 20 in the NJCAA Division I women's soccer poll checking in at number 19 this week. The Jayhawks, in their first season, are 8-4-1 overall and will represent Region XII in the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Nationals next week in Melbourne, FL. Delta College drops into the others receiving votes category this week. The Pioneers finished the season with a 12-5-1 record.

The Delta College women's soccer team entered the NJCAA Divsion I women's soccer rankings this week at number 16. The Pioneers are 12-5-1 on the season and won the NJCAA Region XII women's soccer championship. They advance to the NJCAA Divsion I National in Melbourne, FL starting November 12th.

The Owens Community College women's soccer team moved up one spot to number 14 in this week's NJCAA Division I women's soccer poll. The Express are 12-2-3 overall and 9-1-2 in Region XII. They are the number one seed in the NJCAA Region XII tournament this weekend at Jackson Community College.

Owens' Brinkman named NJCAA Goalie of the Week
Owens Community College freshman goaltender Erika Brinkman has been named NJCAA Division I women's soccer Goalie of the Week. Brinkman shut out two of the three Express opponents last week to bring her shut out total to ten this season. In the crease for all 270 minutes of Owens three matches and turned all away 12 of 13 shots she faced. The lone goal came in a 4-1 over Kellogg Community College.

The Owens Community College women's soccer debuts in the top 20 this week at number 16. The Express are 11-2-3 overall and 8-1-2 in Region XII. They have clinched a berth in the NJCAA Region XII women's soccer tournament.

Region XII announces fall All-Region awards
NJCAA Region XII is proud to announce the fall, 2011 All-Region teams for the five fall sports. Men's and Women's Soccer honored 11 first team and 11 second team players in each sport. The top 10 finishers at the Region XII cross country men's and women's meet earned All-Region honors in the Division I Meet and the top two runners in both men's and women's races at the Division III meet are All-Region. 20 volleyball players earned All-Region honors this fall as well. Delta College debuts at number 14 in this week's poll
In their first season, Delta College has won the NJCAA Region XII women's soccer tournament and now they have broke into the top 15 for the first time as well. The Pioneers are ranked number 14 in this week's NJCAA Division I women's soccer poll this week after defeating Schoolcraft College 1-0 in a shootout on Sunday. Delta will host Waubonsee (IL) Community College on Saturday, November 5th at 1:00 PM in the NJCAA District D Women's Soccer Championship.

Delta College wins Region XII title in shootout
The Delta College women's soccer team played number 14th ranked Schoolcraft College to a 0-0 draw after 110 minutes of soccer action, the came the shootout. Delta College shot first with Taylor Scwellenbach scoring, Renee Boudreau answered for Schoolcraft.
In the second round Megan Sullivan scored for Delta College while, Sam Zerilla scored for Schoolcraft College. In the third round Jessica Forge converted the penalty kick for the Pioneers, while Schoolcraft missed on their attempt. After Stephanie Labelle scored for Delta College, Lauren Baldalamente staved off elimination by scoring. Emily Kraska then converted on the penalty kick to give Delta a 5-3 win in the shootout and a 1-0 win in the game.
Courtney Neiderquill of Delta College turned away nine shots in the game and one in the overtime to lift the first year Pioneers to the championship.
Delta College will host the NJCAA District D Tournament against the winner of Region IV on Saturday at the University Center campus at 12:00.

For the second week in a row, the Schoolcraft College women's soccer team is ranked 14th in the NJCAA Division II Women's soccer poll. The Ocelots are 14-1-1 overall and 10-0 in Region XII. They will be the number one seed in this weekend's NJCAA Region XII Women's soccer tournament and will play Owens Community College at 2:00 on Saturday.

Cincinnati State ranked 13th in the NJCAA pre-season soccer poll
The Cincinnati State Technical & Community College women's soccer team is ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division I women's pre-season soccer poll. The Surge finished last season 13-3-0 and were runner-up in Region XII. This year there are six teams in the Region competeing in women's soccer and the first NJCAA Region XII Women's Soccer Tournament will be held October 29th and 30th at Delta College.

The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team is ranked 10th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's pre-season poll. The Ocelots finished last season with a 17-4-1 record.
Schoolcraft College finished 4th in the National last season after winning their third straight Region XII women's soccer title. This fall the Ocelots will compete with Jackson Community College, Delta College and Kellogg Community College for the first ever MCCAA Women's Soccer Championship.

Schoolcraft College Midfielder Adrianna Guerrero has been named a NJCAA Division I Second Team All-American. Guerrero scored six goals and had five assists for 17 points on the season for the Ocelots, who finished fourth in the Nation.

Schoolcraft wins Sportsmanship Award at National Tournament
The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team finished fourth this weekend at the NJCAA Division I Women' Soccer National Tournament. However, the Ocelots did win the Lea Plarski Sportsamship Award for their conduct during the tournament. Adrianna Guerrero of Schoolcraft was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team lost the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer third place game to Georgia Perimeter College 2-0 today in Topeka, KS. The Ocelots finished fourth in the NJCAA this year with a final overall record of 17-3-0. Congratulations to Head Coach Deepak Shiverman and the rest of the Ocelots on a great year.

The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team lost to Tyler (TX) Junior College in the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Tournament by the score of 2-1. The Ocelots (17-2-0) goal was scored by Adrianna Guerrero with 21:39 gon in the second half. Tyler scored twice in the first half. Schoolcraft College will play Georgia Perimeter College at 1:00 on Sunday in Wichita, KS.

The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team advanced to the second round of the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Nationals by defeating Laramie (WY) County Community College. The game was tied at 1-1 after overtime and the Oceltos (17-1-0) advanced 7-6 on penalty kicks. Schoolcraft will play Tyler (TX) Junior College at 5:30 PM on Friday in Topeka, KS.

Schoolcraft draws Laramie County in National Tournament
The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team has received the fourth seed in the 2010 NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Tournament. The Ocelots (16-1-0) will face Laramie (WY) County Community College (18-3-1) in Topeka, KS on Thursday, November 18. The Oceltos are led by Jennifer Giegler with 18 goals and 12 assist for a total of 48 points. The Golden Eagles are led by Emi Yamamoto with 16 goal and 23 assists for 55 points. The winner of the match gets the winner of Tyler (TX) Junior College and Anne Arundel (MD) Community College on Friday, November 19th.

The Schoolcraft College women's soccer team defeated Waubonsee (IL) CC 3-1 in the NJCAA District D Championship and advance to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament. The Ocelots are 16-1-0 oveall and are ranked ninth in the NJCAA.

Elam scored 14 goals and had seven assists in 13 games this season. Schoolcraft College sophomore midfielder Allyson King earned Honorable Mention All American Honors. King scored 3 goals and had two assists in 14 games this season. Congratulations to both playes on the honors they have earned.

Schoolcraft College seeded fourth in Soccer Nationals
The fourth ranked Schoolcraft College women's soccer team is seeded fourth for the NJCAA Division I National Tournament this weekend in Chandler, AZ. The Ocelots (10-2-3) will play host school and fifth ranked Chandler-Gilbert (AZ) CC (19-1-1) on Thursday at 9:30 EST. Schoolcraft College is led by Clare Baptist with seven goals and three assists and Brittany Pickett with five goals and four assists. Kristin Dondzila is the leading goalkeeper for the Ocelots with an 0.588 goals against average and 59 saves in 765 minutes of play. Schoolcraft will play either top ranked Darton (GA) College or 15th ranked Anne Arundel (MD) CC on Friday at 4:00 PM if they lose or 9:30 PM if they win.
