Region XII DII Women's Basketball Player of the Year
Region XII is proud to announce Charlese Greer is the Division II Women's Basketball Region Player of the Year. Greer is a 5'9" Sophmore Forward from Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia, MI. She ended the season ranked 10th in the Nation in scoring for NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball, averaging 20 points a game; and Geer's 59.2 shooting percentage was good enough place her 9th in the nation.

Mott Battles To the End!
The Mott Community College Women's Basketball team gave number one seed Illionis Central College a real challenge before falling 82-80 in the semi-finals of the NJCAA Women's Basketball Division II Championship.
Region XII's Kalamazoo Valley Community College Women's Basketball Team fell to number two seed Kirkwood Community College in the NJCAA Women's Division II National Championships in Phoenix Arizona, 56-46.

Region XII still has one team in the National Championship tournament. The Mott Community College Bears play tournament number one seed Illinois Central today, March 17, at 5pm PST. The game can be followed on the web at CybersportsUSA
Candace Ward scored 35 points to help Mott Community College defeat the number four seed Chandler-Gilbert at the NJCAA Women's Basketball Division II National Championship, 82-73. The win moves the Bears into the semi-finals where they take on the number one seed, Illinois Community College.
