Jackson's Bullock earns Division II Player of the Week honors
Jackson Community College 5-10, sophomore forward Ericka Bullock has been named NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Bullock recorded a double-double against Davenport University JV on Thursday. She scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She followed that up by scoring 31 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, dished out 10 assists and had 10 steals, in a double overtime loss to Edison Community College on Saturday. Bullock has two triple doubles this season.

The Vincennes University women's basketball team moved up two spots in this week's NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Poll. The Trailblazers are 10-2 on the season.

Owens jumps four spots in this week's poll
The Owens Community College women's basketball team jumped four spots to number four in this week's NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Poll. The Express are off to their best start ever at 11-0. Cincinnati State Technical & Community College moved up one spot to number eight this week. The Surge are 6-3 on the season. Schoolcraft College dropped one spot in this week's rankings to number 13. The Ocelots are 8-3 overall and 1-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. Kalamazoo Valley Community College is the only Region XII team in the others receiving votes category this week. The Cougars are 4-3 on the season.

Lansing moves up three spots in this week's poll
The Lansing Community College men's basketball team moved up three spots in this week's NJCAA Region XII Men's Basketball Poll to number four. The Stars are 7-1 on the season. Columbus State Community College debut in the top fifteen this week. The Cougars compiled a 9-1 record so far this year. Cincinnati State Technical & Community College dropped from the number one spot this week to number 15. The Surge are 7-2 on the season. Three Region XII Teams are in the others receiving votes category this week. Glen Oaks Community College (7-0), Lakeland Community College (7-1) and Mott Community College (5-2) are the schools in that category.

Three Region XII soccer players have earned All-American honors
Cincinnati State Technical & Community College forward Ashton Bennett has been named a First Team NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-American. Bennett scored 24 goals and 19 assists for 67 points in 19 games this season. Cincinnati State Technical & Community College midfielder Cody Clark has earned Second Team All-American Honors. Clark scored five goals and three assists for 13 points in nine games. Schoolcraft College midfielder Marco Lobo also has earned Second Team All-American honors. Lobo scored 20 goals and eight assists for 48 points in 20 games.

Schoolcraft's Guerrero named second team All-American
Schoolcraft College Midfielder Adrianna Guerrero has been named a NJCAA Division I Second Team All-American. Guerrero scored six goals and had five assists for 17 points on the season for the Ocelots, who finished fourth in the Nation.

Region XII have four Division II Volleyball All-Americans
NJCAA Region XII has four player that have earned NJCAA Division II Volleyball All-American honors. Lauren Maxwell of Oakland Community College was named First Team All-American. Kelsey Cox of Grand Rapids Community College is a Second Team All-American. Also earning Second Team All-American honors was Brittany Egbert of Owens Community College. Sydney VanMunster ofGrand Rapids Community College was named to the Honorable Mention All-American Team. Congratulations to all four players.

Schoolcraft's Thomas named NJCAA Player of the Week
Shawnicka Thomas of Schoolcraft College has been named the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The 5-9 forward logged two big games this past week, which led her team to a 1-1 record. Thomas averaged 25 points on 61 percent shooting, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. The Warren, MI native put up 33 points against Owens Community College, then the very next day, posted a 17 point, 13 rebound double-double in a win over Columbus State Community College. Thomas leads the team in assists and steals.

The Express are off the the best start in school history with a 11-0 record. Cincinnati State Technical & Community College drops one spot to number nine this week. The Surge are 5-2 on the season. Schoolcraft College drops ten spots this week to number 12. The Ocelots are 6-2 on the season.
