Schoolcraft women's soccer team ranked eighth in preseason poll
The Schoolcraft College Women's Soccer team is ranked eighth in the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Pre-season poll. The Ocelots finished 14-5-0 last season and won the Region XII Championship. They qualified for the National Tournament and went 0-2.

Women's Volleyball
Grand Rapids is ranked tenth in pre-season volleyball poll
The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team is ranked tenth in the NJCAA Division II Pre-Season Volleyball Poll. The Raiders finished second in the NJCAA District F Volleyball Tournament last season and finished last season at 21-10 overall. Grand Rapids CC finished second in the MCCAA Western Conference with an 11-3 record. Kalamazoo Valley Community College is ranked 16th in the poll. The Cougars finished eight in the NJCAA Division II National Volleyball Tournament last season. Kalamazoo Valley finished with an overall record of 38-9 overall and first in the MCCAA Western Conference with a 14-0 record. Columbus State Community College is the other team's receiving votes catagory in the poll. The Cougars finished seventh in the NJCAA Division II National Championship last season. Columbus State finished the season with a 43-10 overall record and won the OCCAC Championship with a 12-0 record. Owens Community College is the others receiving votes catagory as well. The Express finished third in the NJCAA District E Tournament last season. Owens CC finished with an overall record of 32-20 and finished tied for second in the OCCAC with a 9-3 record. The NJCAA Volleyball season kicks-off on Friday, August 27th.

Men's Soccer
Schoolcraft College ranked third in pre-season poll
The Schoolcraft College men's soccer team is ranked third in the NJCAA Division I Men's Pre-season soccer poll. The Ocelots who finished third in the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship last year. The Oceltos finished last season with an 18-2-2 overall record and they were 8-0-0 in the MCCAA. Cincinnati State Technical & Community College was listed in the other team's receiving votes in the poll. The Surge were the Region XII runner's up and finished with a 16-3-1 overall record and won the OCCAC with a 6-0-0 record.
This season the nine Region XII team will compete in one Regional league. Each team will play the other eight team in a home and home series with the top six teams advancing to the NJCAA Regon XII Soccer Tournament. The Final Four will be held at Delta College on October 31 and November 1st.
